  • Is there a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the resort?
    Yes. Once your vacation has been booked, you can arrange transportation from the airport to the resort by following the information sent to you in your confirmation email. Guests will be able to reserve your transportation using your reservation number. A confirmation slip will then be emailed to you directly from the transportation company once they’ve reviewed and accepted your request. Taxi or shuttle service from the resort back to the airport is at the Guest’s cost. Taxi services are available at each resort.
  • For self catering can Guests buy food and beverages at the resort?
    Yes. At NV Vidanta the idea of “resort shopping” has been setup to enable guests to purchase gourmet items from a global food market, and an entire gourmet grocery store. The "resort shopping" also covers from simple souvenirs and travel accessories to a world of designer clothing, fine jewelry, and beautiful locally crafted art. Note, “resort shopping” may change from resort to resort, please validate at time of check-in. Note: Grocery and beverage shopping can also be done if Guests use the taxi service to be taken to a nearby local supermarket.
  • Are there free WiFi services?
    Yes. Complimentary WiFi services are available in the rooms and around the resort complex. Ask the resort concierge for your WiFi access code.
  • What is the Vidanta resort app and why should Guests download it?
    The Vidanta Resort App is available in English and Spanish for their resorts. The Vidanta Resorts App allows Guests to get the most out of your vacation by providing directions around the resort complex, finding dining locations, including daily resort events and activities, plus local taxi rates.
  • What are Vidanta Ambassador Certificates?
    As non-members of Vidanta Vacations, through the Certificate program you will be invited to experience the unforgettable world of vacations, at luxurious and exclusive resort destinations where you and your family can experience memories in Mexico. The Ambassador Certificate entitles a non-member to luxury accommodations at the Vidanta resorts, for an 8 day, 7 night stay. Reservations based on resort space availability. Certificate offers not available at Puerto Penasco and Acapulco resorts. For further details navigate to Certificates tab.
  • Can I leave the resort for other activities?
    Yes. Taxi services together with day trips or excursions are available at each resort. Taxi rates at each resort are available by accessing the Vidanta app.
  • What is the process to request and book a week at Vidanta resorts?
    Research and discover which resort and unit options are available to Guests as listed on the Resorts and Rates tab. Submit to us your Booking Request together with number in party and desired travel date. We will request and process Guest reservation through Vidanta Customer Services. Once unit and dates are confirmed by Vidanta, we will email Guest with reservation confirmation, Guest will be invoiced by us. Guests will have 24 hrs to make payments. On receipt of Guest payment we will email Guest with the Vidanta Reservation confirmation letter. The Vidanta Reservation confirmation letter in Guest's name will need to be presented to the Resort at time of check-in.
  • What are our Bookings Terms and Conditions?

  • What is the cancellation policy?
    Guests may cancel reservations up to 90 (ninety) calendar days prior to scheduled arrival, giving the reservation confirmation number to be cancelled. There is an administration fee for such cancellation of US$350 (three hundred and fifty) dollars per cancellation. In the event of the cancellation with less than 90 (ninety) calendar days notice, Guest will lose the week with no refund. However where possible we will work with Guest and Resort to reschedule alternate vacation dates to safeguard the Booking. Guests may cancel without penalty in the event of illness or death in the immediate family, in which case a doctor’s acknowledge letter or death certificate is required. (Per Vidanta's Cancellation Policy).
  • Are there child care and baby sitting services at the resorts?
    For child care and activities find out about the Kid's Club at the resort. At the NV Vidanta resort, the Kid’s Club is your vacation go-to for fun for the little ones! Located by The Grand Mayan wave pool, Kid’s Club offers an assortment of amazing activities, including water activities at the on-premise pool, for children ages 5 to 12. All of these activities are supervised by Vidanta's expert staff. Kid’s Club also has weekly theme nights where, for an additional fee, you can drop off your children and enjoy an evening at the resort while they make new friends and try new things at events like Pirate Night or Pajama Party. There is also a Grand Luxxe-exclusive Kid’s Club located by Grand Luxxe Tower 4. For baby sitting services Guests need to inquire at the resort Conceige Desk.
  • Can a Guest get Travel Insurance to safeguard a vacation?
    Yes. At the time of Guest's reservation being made, Vidanta will offer a Vacation Insurance through MapFre. Guests can opt out of purchasing Vacation Insurance at this stage. On the Vidanta Reservation Confirmation letter, the same Travel Insurance will be promoted. If Guests want to take out Vacation Insurance, all need to do is contact the Vidanta Customer Service desk quoting Guest reservation number, and then purchase the insurance.
  • What are Red Weeks?
    Under our Vidanta vacation membership, Red Weeks exclude Easter and Holy week, Christmas and New Year. These are weeks that reserved for Elite members. However at the discretion of Vidanta, exceptions for making reservations during these Red Weeks can be requested, Guests just need to ask and we will work with Vidanta to see if your vacation request can be fulfilled. No reservation bookings during these Red Weeks are guaranteed, requests will be subject to Vidanta policies and availability at time of Guest's Booking Request.
  • Is there a Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta resort map?
    Yes. Download NV resort map from here, or navigate to the resort map off the Resorts and Rates tab.
  • Do we also list our vacation offerings on VRBO and AirBnb?
    No. Deluxxe Vacations does not have vacation packages listed on either VRBO or AirBnb. Although we understand that there are advantages to listing on these mainstream booking platforms, the decision was made to create our own vacation listing platform so that you as guests can benefit from it. - Guests will deal directly with us so that when working with the resorts your preferable vacation dates can be booked. - Guests will not have to pay booking and service fees to these third party platforms resulting in savings to guests. - Guests will only pay for the vacation after your requested dates have been confirmed and booked. Goal is for both parties to benefit and reduce vacation costs.
